Things to check

Location and online tools

City search and fresh price information need an internet connection. You can enter a location manually in the app.

On the website, choose Detect my location on the Prayer, Ramadan or Qibla page, or, on a first visit, Use my location on the home page; your browser then asks for permission. If you blocked location before, allow it again in your browser's site settings. You can also search for a city or enter coordinates on the Prayer page.

When checking prayer times, review the selected location and the source and method shown in the app or on the website's Prayer page.

Prayer reminders

Check notification permission, your device's sound settings and the reminder schedule shown in the app.

Delivery depends on your device settings as well as the app's reminder setup.

The website does not send prayer reminders. Reminders come only from the app.

Qibla compass

Compass support depends on your device's sensors. Follow the calibration and accuracy guidance shown in the app.

Keep that guidance in mind when reading the direction display.

On the website, open the Qibla page and choose Enable compass. Some browsers ask for permission first. Without a usable compass, the page stays in static mode: north is up and the bearing is shown.
